Bari provides an undiscovered realm of genuine Italian experiences with its charming old town, lively marketplaces, and mouthwatering cuisine. Due to its advantageous seaside location, the city has been a cultural melting pot for ages, and its history extends back to the Roman era.

A diverse range of customs, artwork, and architectural designs make up Bari’s cultural landscape. Pilgrims from all over the world flock to the city because of its stunning cathedrals, such the Basilica di San Nicola. Culture lovers should not miss the Teatro Petruzzelli, one of Italy’s most significant opera houses. Fly Out of Bari or Brindisi?

Bari Karol Wojtyła Airport (BRI) is the main airport serving the region and offers numerous international and domestic flights. It’s conveniently located about 8 kilometers from the city center. Alternatively, Brindisi Airport (BDS) is another option, located about 115 kilometers from Bari. Both airports are well-connected, but Bari’s airport is more convenient if you’re staying in the city
